Just in case you’ve forgotten: the Georgia Presidential Primary is on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 and you must Register to Vote by February 6 in order to vote in this election!

Run-off races in DeKalb County, Georgia for November 30, 2010 election

Here are the results of the Judicial races held yesterday, as well as the Board of Education races.

See below for the 5 DeKalb & Georgia election races (3 judicial, 2 board of education) that will be decided in a run-off election on November 30, as well as research tools for each race.  

Advance Voting will be held at the Memorial Drive location only (4380 Memorial Drive, Decatur, GA 3003) for 3 days only on Mon-Wed, Nov. 22 – 24 (as the awesome County employees get Thanksgiving off, too).

DeKalb County sealJust in case you’ve forgotten: the Georgia Primary Run-Off Election is Tuesday (August 10). You can vote in this even if you DID NOT vote in the initial primary election. Court strikes down 

Prop 8Federal Court Judge Walker's soon-to-be famous "80 findings of fact" were hard to scan in their original format, so I removed all those annoying (though, no doubt, necessary) citations and have created a friendlier list.

Walker overturned Proposition 8 because its proponents "fail[ed] to advance any rational basis in singling out gay men and lesbians for denial of a marriage license."
